Please to be telling me where I get unicorn pee to rehydrate my soy curls in so that they are Magic In My Mouf! I have cooked three bags and none of them has done anything for me. Disclaimer: my lurvely friend Kittee has given me her phone number so that I may know her way of cooking them, but I don't talk on the phone. It's a thing. I know.
How do you cook your soy curls? Today I rehydrated them in "chicken" broth. Let them drain. Put about a teaspoon of toasted sesame oil on them and also some tamari (lots of tamari). Then I water stir fried broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots and tossed that all together (with a bit more sesame and some lemon pepper). Then I cooked some Far East Mushroom couscous. At the end, it was all slopped together on my plate and was okay, but from what I've read (even here on PPK) my tongue should be in orgasmic ecstasy because of The Soy Curls.
Halp?

You need to really squeeze all the liquid out. Just letting them drain isn't enough.

Well, I pressed them in the colander. Really hard. But I didn't pick them up and squeeze them this time. The time before that I put them in a cheese cloth and squeezed them and twisted them until they screamed. :)
