have any of you ever done this? i'm not a coffee drinker, because it makes me acidy, but mr. carrot loves coffee.

I've done it! It's super easy though you can only make small batches at a time. I went through a couple of thrift store poppers before finding one that actually worked for coffee (it needs to get pretty hot).

i guess he had some issues roasting outside (which is necessary) when it was cooler out because the cold air interfered. but otherwise, it works wonderfully. so fresh, and cheap too.

Ive never heard of this! I briefly lived with someone who roasted her beans in a cast iron with cinnamonsticks and other spices and she made the best damn cup of coffee.
