I definitely want to make something savory! I make some pretty awesome sourdough cornbread muffins, so I was thinking some of those, and maybe focaccia with different toppings. Spinach pie sounds good! How do you make that? I will take your advice, poopie, and individually wrap things.

Peanut butter pillow cookies for a work morning tea tomorrow, and pumpkin walnut muffins for my neighbours who gave me a free pumpkin from their farm the other day.

For our WVBS next weekend, I'm making blueberry lavender scones, GF chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting, lemon bars, and brownies. Not a whole lot of folks are making things, so I'm overexerting myself...

Oooh, I still haven't decided for sure everything that I'm making for ours yet, but your stuff sounds so good! I have a few people who are donating money for ingredients for me to bake extra stuff, so I'm gonna be busy (and now my husband is going to be out of town when it goes down, so poopieboy will be 'helping' us at the sale)!

The German Chocolate Cake from Chloe's Vegan Desserts. Was meant to be a layer cake, but I screwed up one of the layers (wrong pans, stupid oven). Single-layer cake! And bonus underbaked cake chunks :) The filling / frosting is amazing.

Mixed berry muffins... but they didn't turn out so good. They're just 'okay' rather than yumalicious.

Quadruple batch of focaccia! 20 cups of flour, 4 cups of olive oil, and 3.5 hours. Ah!

I haven't baked them yet, but I've got a whole lot of dough retarding the fridge right now to bake in the morning. Hope they're good.

VB bagels, and I made them "everything" style: garlic, salt, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and I made some roasted pepper and garlic/scallion cream cheeses. I don't think I shall ever buy another bagel in a store again. This was my first bagel since giving up dairy so I'm pretty stoked.

Lemon Ginger Muffins. They were supposed to be Lemon Poppyseed ginger, but I didn't have any poppyseeds and I didn't really feel like hunting them down and paying through the nose..

Front to back:
Garlic and onion
Sumac, thyme, and sesame
Garlic and rosemary

Not pictured: two smaller round ones, one of which was topped with herbs de provence and the other plain

I used Anne Burrell's recipe and it was awesome but super oily. In total I used 4 cups of olive oil for four batches of dough! I infused some of the oil with leeks and garlic for a couple of the loaves, and those were definitely the most flavorful.

Gorgeous! I made zaatar focaccia once and it was sooo good! 1 cup of oil per batch does seem like a lot but they loom so delish.

They were swimming in oil when I put them in the oven, but they magically absorbed it all when they baked. I'd cut back if I were making it just for myself, but for a bake sale or to impress someone with super decadent bread, full oil ahead!

That sounds like Peter Reinhart's recipe - there is so much oil I can hardly believe it, but it all gets soaked up somehow. It's insane, but I guess that's what makes it so damn tasty.

Your focaccia all looks/sounds so great!

I just put rosemary thyme beer bread in the oven. I'm really excited about it!
