Granola! I'm house sitting for my mom this weekend and she has NO food. Except a shitload of oats. So, granola!

I made vegan scones for the first time, using my usual, non-vegan recipe but switching the butter to Earth Balance and the egg/milk combo to soy milk. They are amazing! I ate most of the batch in one sitting, just to be 100% sure they hadn't lost any deliciousness in the veganising process.

I made a spice cake with caramel frosting a couple days ago. I've made it before a few times. Easy and tasty.

Over the last three days I've made:

1 Black Forest Cake
1 Pina Colada Cake
1 dozen Lavender Vanilla Cupcakes
1 Oreo Cheesecake
1 Banoffee Pie
1 dozen Pumpkin Spice Whoopie Pies
1 dozen Chocolate Raspberry Whoopie Pies
1 dozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwiches
1 dozen Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Sandwiches
2 dozen Caramel Brownies
2 dozen Chocolate Chip Brownies
1 dozen Cream Cheese Brownies
1 dozen Black Bottom Blondies
1 dozen Rice Krispie Treats
and 1 Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Tart

I also burnt 1 batch of peanut butter cookies for cookie sandwiches, and a pan of pumpkin cream cheese blondies... so technically I made those things too, they're just not edible :(

Flipping heck, poopiebitch! That's an awful lot of delicious-sounding stuff!

This afternoon I've made peanut butter flapjacks with sultanas and dried sour cherries and a chocolate topping.

i made chocolate cupcakes last night for my friend's birthday thing (today). i'm getting ready to run out for ingredients for peanut butter mousse frosting and maybe some salted chocolate to shave on top. and then i'm going to spend six or so hours fighting the urge to just eat all the cupcakes, because it's not like they're expecting them or anything.

I made the Green Monster bread from VSSTD, using mostly whole wheat flour and chickpea flour to replace the wheat gluten. Made it into rolls, which is awesome. Sandwiches forever.

Inspired by RandiJM, I made VeganDad's chocolate cinnamon babka! I hadn't ever had babka before, but it came out great. I made it for one of my best friends who is Jewish and who has been a little sad this new year season, missing her mom and all the baking that her mom used to do. It was fun and it came out well, and they loved it!

You are amazing. Really, truly, madly, deeply, amazing. Everything sounds incredible, especially the Banoffee Pie. If I lived near you, I would babysit Poopiebaby for a week for a slice of that thing.

I made some green tea bread rolls with sweet black beans this afternoon and they came out really nice. Now I just have to stop myself eating them all!

Applesauce quick bread just came out of the oven. It looks and smells good but I haven't tried it yet.

I made the challah bread from the ppk blog and it came out great! Only changes I made were to maple glaze it before the second proofing and I used nigella seeds instead of poppy. Will definitely make it again.

I made brownies: http://northernveg.blogspot.de/2011/09/super-fudgy-brownies.html

Not too sweet, but they seemed more like brownie batter than brownies to me. Firm, but almost as if I hadn't baked them.

How banana-y would you say it tastes? I really don't love bananas, but I love challah, so I've been conflicted about making this.

I raided the Sticky Fingers cookbook and did a bake-a-thon. I made the Cowvin Cookies and the Little Devils. Both were unbelievable. Earlier in the week I made different cake layers from the book for a 3 layer cake, and the Cookies n Cream Frosting. Everything turned out awesome.

Chai spice apple crumble. I wanted a healthier dessert, so used very little sugar and oil and it still tastes really good.

Not banana-y at all, sooo very faint. Nobody that ate them asked if they had banana in them. Try halving the recipe to just make one loaf so it's not as heartbreaking if it's not to your liking.

I just checked the recipe page and Isa says maybe try puréed sweet potato instead of the banana(1/2 cup). This sounds good. I once made a Bryanna Clark Grogan recipe for a sweet Greek bread and it called for cooked puréed potato. It helps the bread retain moisture and stay tender. Good luck.
