I made the sure fire seitan from afr and have 2 pieces left over. Any ideas for what to do with them? It has to involve minimal ingredients because my pantry's pretty bare at the moment.

when I have seitan that I have no plan for I just start looking up chicken recipes on foodnetwork.com. that's probably weird, but seitan is so versatile you can use it in pretty much anything and there are so many super simple chicken recipes out there. like, just bread it and fry it up and then eat it with a salad or on a sandwich or over pasta.

I have a tendency to slap leftover seitan on a roll with some HP sauce and just eat that. Carb city, for sure but it's tasty!

Sauté it in a bit of olive oil and lots of garlic and any veggies you've got (maybe onions if you're out of fresh produce?), whip up a grain or pot of pasta, and toss into a bowl.

Marinade it in garlic, sugar, soy sauce and chilli overnight and fry it up with some greens.

Marinade chunks of it and thread on to skewers and grill with whatever veggies you have for some easy kabobs.

pan fry it until it starts to get crispy, throw in onions and peppers if you have them, add tons of garlic, hp sauce or bbq sauce, hot sauce or something spicy.... cook until your eyes water and slap that all into tortilla, Pita, or some kind of bread...... yummy yummy stuff!
