Thought this might be a fun thread as I'm always looking for ideas of recipes to make for various potlucks, theme parties, etc and I imagine lots of you are too!
As for now, my fiance and I are planning to celebrate Valentine's Day by cooking together. Any suggestions for recipes worthy of the occasion? I'm thinking it would be something very decadent & fun to prepare. General ideas would be greatly appreciated. If you have a recipe link or can name the cookbook that's even better!

I saw some really cute roasted beets that were cut into the shape of hearts! If I had a person to cook with on Vday, that's what I would cook. I mean, that would be part of what I would cook.
