I threw some leftover icing in the freezer a couple of months ago and wondered if you think it would still be ok to eat? Would I have to re whip the icing after it thaws?

It'll be fine. Let it warm up and re-whip.

It should be fine. As far as rewhipping you will have to see how the consistency is after it thaws but usually it just needs to be stirred.

I whipped it up again, because when thawed it felt kind of granular. Turned out great. It's good to know because those Isa recipes always make a for ton of icing, so now I know that i can freeze leftovers.

It's fabulous frozen. I have frozen frosting several times but never manage to use it on a cake again, it just gets whittled away by the spoonful until it's gone.
