So, instead of asking everyone at the end of the year, I'm starting this thread for life-changing stuff, that we can update all year round. Hopefully that will make for a smoother PPK100 this year!
OK, so when any books, recipes, tips, vegan food events, cooking shows, equipment, chefs, restaurants, products, and blogs that really have an impact, leave a little note here. We especially love specific stuff (a specific recipe on a blog, a specific dish at a restaurant, etc.)
I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is loving on. Hopefully this works. Thanks, guys! <3

Maybe it's just me, but this bread is pretty amazing. It's from My New Roots and it's flour free. It's basically made of nothing but oats, seeds and nuts and then it's held together by chia, flax and psyllium husk. And it's GOOD. I can't wait to modify it in a million flavors, like pizza or walnut date. It's sorta like if tempeh was bread, cuz you look at it and think, "What's all that stuff holding everythng together?" http://mynewroots.org/site/2013/02/the- ... -of-bread/xo kittee

Besides the fact it's delicious, it mixes together in five minutes. I let mine sit overnight in the fridge and just baked it the next morning. Easiest bread ever. xo kittee

I mean I like it. Might be just me,though It tastes just like the non vegan versions. I love it! Makes me feel like a kid again. Yes, this has been huge to my daughter who always had to watch her cousins eat the fluorescent orange cheese puffs with envy.

I sent this recipe to my very omni mother (who is trying to reduce her wheat consumption) and she's going to make it this week! Yay!

If this Daiya Swiss is good, that could take care of entries 1-25 all by itself. Quiche! Panini!

Oskri bars. I love them! Especially the Fiber Almond Bar, which totally doesn't sound like something I'd be into, but they are super tasty.

My life changing cookbook is from 1980, but it planted the seeds of veganism long before I finally went vegan, and that is Julie Sahni's Indian Cooking. That book contains the seeds of so many recipes, and I use the spice belnd from her Gobhi Matar Resedar as the starting point for so many dishes now.
Because of this, as well as Vegan For Life and Veganomicon, this has been an explosion of interest vs. "giving up animal products".

So Delicious plain cultured coconut milk. I use it as a buttermilk replacement and I love it. Love it so much more than adding vinegar or lemon to sour other non-dairy milks. My pancakes have never been fluffier.

If Daiya cream cheese is as good as the shreds, that will be life-changing.

I ate a box of the new Enjoy Life crispy chocolate chip cookies in a pretty short amount of time. I don't usually buy boxes of cookies but I was kind of drunk and they were new and the Enjoy Life not crispy ones aren't that great but I figured I would give them a try and either they are the best boxed xgfx cookies ever or they were because I was drunk.

I'm not sure if these have been around awhile or what, but So Delicious Coconut Milk Mini vanilla bars are the shiitake. SO good. The are rich and creamy and fantastic. (IMO, they blow the So Delicious Almond Milk bars out of the water).

The new Alpro hazelnut milk is fantastic. But that might just be a Benelux/Europe thing.

I don't know if it'll be life changing, but Gardein is coming out with some interesting stuff. I can't wait to try their breakfast sandwich.
