Spring 2013 Cookbook Challenge - Time to Officially Vote!

Hi everyone! Thank you for all your cookbook recommendations! And a big thank you for those who offered me advice and support since this is my first time organizing a cookbook challenge!

Okay, so here's how voting will work...... There are 2 different polls to cast your vote.

Poll #1: A specific Isa or Terry cookbook
In addition to an open/free Isa/Terry cookbook challenge week, there will be a cookbook challenge week devoted exclusively to just 1 Isa or Terry cookbook. Please vote below for just one cookbook title.

Poll #2: All the other cookbooks ;)
Please vote for your top five cookbooks that you would like to cook from during each cookbook challenge week.

Admittedly, pollcode does not have a limit feature for voting options, so please in poll #1 just vote for 1 Isa/Terry book and in poll #2 just choose your top 5 cookbooks. You can only vote one time for each of the polls (pollcode does IP tracking)

Today is Sunday, March 17, 2:50pm EST. I will disable voting sometime during the late afternoon on Wednesday, March 20. I will post again when voting has been disabled. On Thursday March 21 or Friday March 22, I will post the official cookbook challenge cookbooks and our time schedule. Each cookbook will be for a two week period. I am planning on a Monday April 1 start date.

I only have 2 of those books! And a couple of zines. So I guess I will be hitting the library and/or using different books. Oh well.

ashley, i can understand how you feel, but don't be discouraged. i only have a handful of all the books included in both polls. the library is a good source for books especially if your library participates in inter-library loaning, and sometimes google books has TONS more preview features than amazon.com offers. when the final titles are chosen, i will do my best to provide as many free online resources as possible such as google book previews, archived book blog tours, blog links, etc......

no problem, and yes if there is a tie, i will have a tie breaking poll, very brief, perhaps just a 24 hour period.

If any of you guys have e-readers, don't forget to check your library's e-book catalog! Mine has a bunch of vegan cookbooks, including some Isa/Terry books, so that's another resource to explore if you don't have any of the books.

It might be a little bit confusing - Bryanna Clark Grogan's book is listed as "World Feast Vegan" when it's "World Vegan Feast". Seems minor, but tripped me up!

I was already looking what Vegan Diner recipes I can find online, I found 5 or so so far. So all is well. Though I think I'll probably go and buy Vegan Sandwiches!

I've just ordered the two. I am so seriously impatient! Out of them all I was praying for those 2 the most so I really don't think I would be happy until I had them.

I must admit out of the Vegan Diner ones I found online it just really didn't seem like a cookbook I'd use that much. maybe the recipes I found will change my mind after I tried them, they just seemed pretty basic... Vegan Sandwiches on the other hand looks very exciting. i've been reading the ppk thread for it for weeks!

Thanks for organizing this! I don't own a lot of the top ones, and am prone to buying cookbooks when I shouldn't be spending money, so thanks also to everyone suggesting ways to get around purchasing the books.
