hi y'all. when i was at kroger earlier i noticed that all their vegenaise was marked down to $3.99 with an orange "manger's special" sticker on it. all the ones i saw didn't expire until december 2013. not sure if they plan to discontinue carrying this, but i thought i'd pass the heads up along in case other kroger's across the country have vegenaise super cheap too.

at my store the vegenaise was in the produce section with some other vegetarian/vegan stuff like fake cheese, tofu, veggie burgers/meatballs, etc.....

When I see "manger's special," all I can think of is the sweet lil' baby Jesus. . .

Okay, sorry, I wasn't trying to be a spelling bisque, and this is a helpful post. Thanks for the heads-up! I'd be all over this if I lived anywhere near a Kroger.

My Kroger doesn't carry Vegenaise. :( None of the ones around here do, even the ones with huge organic/natural sections.

The two Krogers near my house don't, but some others in the city do. Just hit or miss, I guess. Ours has Nayonaise, but I'd rather just go without most of the time.

Yeah, nayo is all I can find here. I'll use the FF version to make salads and such but I don't like it on a sandwich.

i rarely shop at kroger so this was a pleasant surprise to find. i actually have an errand to do later today that will bring me back really close to that kroger so i think i'm going to pop in and pick up a couple of more jars. it will in handy for chickpea salads, tofu salads, etc..... and for big smears on sandwiches...... that vegenaise stuff is so good!
