The teasecake didn't work for me either. My food processor was old (it's since died), so it left the cake really grainy and not at all like cheesecake. This recipe
, which was highly recommended on the old boards, fared better- they never set properly, but that's because my fridge is legitimately from the 1950s and also doesn't work that well. The half-set goo tasted great, though.
(I swear that next year when I have more money I'm actually going to buy appliances made in the last 60 years. It will be glorious.)
