The teasecake didn't work for me either. My food processor was old (it's since died), so it left the cake really grainy and not at all like cheesecake.
This recipe, which was highly recommended on the old boards, fared better- they never set properly, but that's because my fridge is legitimately from the 1950s and also doesn't work that well. The half-set goo tasted great, though.
(I swear that next year when I have more money I'm actually going to buy appliances made in the last 60 years. It will be glorious.)
