Greetings people! Looking for an awesome cheesecake recipe to make for Thanksgiving. I think I would prefer a traditional cheesecake but I'm also open to other creative ideas. Hopefully you guys can suggest a recipe I can access immediately rather than going out and buying a specific cookbook! Thanks for the help!

I've made the teasecake and it was awful. It was bitter from the millet and just gross. Sorry. But I know some people like it, so maybe it's the kind of thing you either love or hate.

I found this recipe- not sure if it will work or not. Also, I don't have a springform pan so I would have to get creative!

The teasecake didn't work for me either. My food processor was old (it's since died), so it left the cake really grainy and not at all like cheesecake. This recipe, which was highly recommended on the old boards, fared better- they never set properly, but that's because my fridge is legitimately from the 1950s and also doesn't work that well. The half-set goo tasted great, though.

(I swear that next year when I have more money I'm actually going to buy appliances made in the last 60 years. It will be glorious.)

Yeah, the blending thing was a pain too. I used the blender and new food processor, and it still didn't get that smooth.
