Mine doesn't have too, too much. I keep picking things up in excitement, then reading the ingredients and being annoyed by unnecessary milk and eggs. I can't complain much because I have cookies and muffins, but it seems like the west coast has more awesomeness.

Glad you wandered over to the new boards, Lachesis!

I agree that the west coast TJ's have more awesomeness. When I visited my brother in Philly, I made a point to go to the TJ's by him and was very disappointed.

Just got back from Trader Joe's. I'm gonna try to not open the Candy Cane Joe Joes and Maple Leaf Cookies until I get to Texas later this month.

However, I just discovered something for all my gluten free peeps: Soft Baked Snickerdoodles! Marked vegan and free of the top 8 allergens. They taste like the Enjoy Life ones, which I love! Soft but a little crunch to the texture.

You guys!

My trader joes now has tj-brand refrigerated half-gallon almond milk (unsweetened vanilla, and original) for 2.99! I knew it was only a matter of time! No more wasteful quart sized aseptic boxes/expensive half gallons from other stores. I am happy.

I'm really jealous of this. Also, where is everyone getting this falafel? I can't find it for the life of me. I don't think my small store has it. It would just be crazy of me to ask, wouldn't it?

They ran out of meatless meatballs the other week and I almost had a breakdown. I asked about them and said, "just please tell me you ran out and didn't stop making them, please?!" I hate when they stop selling stuff that I like a lot*!

If you guys have a Target with groceries, my target was selling half gallon refrigerated unsweetened almond milk for $2.89. They are my new source of almond milk I think.

Oh I love Trader Joe's so much.

organic extra virgin olive oil
$1.99 almond breeze! (cheapest I can find)
Vanilla Hemp milk
Candy cane joe joes (I'm gonna cover some in white chocolate tonight, I think!)
maple leaf cookies
frozen roasted corn
garlic french fries
white bean hummus
those everything deli crackers (with aforementioned hummus)
the beer bread mix
cherry chocolate ice cream!
the new coconut mochi ice cream!!!
cheap yogi tea!
those vegan soft snickerdoodles are really good!
the soft baked cookies in the brown paper bag in the west coast stores (not in philly!! bummer!)
$2.29 for 6 bagels

These are all my favorites. I wish my store had the falafels, I bet those are good!

So, although I do love my TJs. I have to wonder, why do they make every JoJo product non-vegan? I mean, maybe that's a good thing for my waist. But still, couldn't they just cover them in non dairy chocolate? And now there are so many, I saw peppermint jojo ice cream the other day.

I'll see if they have any more next time I go! If I had known, I would've bought some for you.

If you ever feel like driving about an hour to go to Trader Joe's, there is a new one in Greenville, SC.

My target just raised the price of the Silk and Almond Breeze Almond Milk to $3.19, so I'm with TJ.

ETA: And when I say "my target" I of course mean the target I own.

Have any of you tried the curry simmer sauce? I have had a jar of it for awhile and am not quite sure what to do with it.

Some of my Trader Joes favorites...their organic peanut butter, the curry fried rice, sweet potato fries, soy nuggets (did they discontinue these? haven't seen in awhile), vegetable masala burgers, frozen penne arrabarrita, teriyaki tofu, stir-fry sauce, the soy ice creams, chocolate sorbet, dark chocolate truffles, pita chips, vacuum fried pineapple chips, peanut butter pretzels, trader tots, frozen vegetable quinoa melange, dried pastas, frozen jasmine rice, vegetable gyozas, candy cane green tea, tarrazu and bolivian coffee...obviously not all at once! TJs is the closest grocery store to me (2 blocks away!) so I do most of my shopping there.

My faaaavorite treat from there is the peanut butter filled pretzels. My roommate just bought a bag and dipped them in some Endangered Species dark chocolate. Omnomnom. I can't buy them for myself though because I can easily go through a bag in two days. Oops.

Mine has a bazillion... if you really want me to send you some, I can. "If it fits, it ships!"

Are their PB Pretzels salted? I've also never seen those... location in the store, please?

They have salted and unsalted. They are in the isle with the crackers, opposite the chips and popcorn (at least at my store).

In my store, crackers are on the opposite side of the store to the popcorn and chips, but I will check near the crackers next time- thanks!

I finally tried to tom yam soup today, and it was awesome! It was rainy and cold here today, so it was pretty perfect.

Really? That's where my parents live (and where I grew up). This, of course, has absolutely nothing to do with Trader Joe's.

I have family teaching there right now. I've visited a couple of times since moving. Perhaps a stop for some jojos will be in order.

i'm glad to hear that the sesame seaweed rice balls will be returning. i felt so bad when my husband came home empty handed. i then rationed out our remaining rice balls so my toddler could unknowingly savor them.

I saw a woman with twenty boxes of these in her cart when I was there a few days ago. They are back.

Just a little excessive. Not to be outdone by the woman with two carts full of soymilk that I saw once.
