Nick, they are in a clear plastic square tub, and they are actually turbinado sugar and sea salt (or something like that). I think the label is yellow. Definitely dark chocolate, no dairy. My favorite thing of all from Trader Joe's.

Okay, I definitely haven't seen them then. There are multiple chocolate almond tubs at my TJ's but not these. I'll have to ask to get them!

The roasted seaweed snack is really tasty also. I haven't tasted the dark chocolate almonds yet. I'm afraid I'll eat them all. I am seriously in love with Trader Joe's. I bought a whole basketful of goodies and only paid $26!!

Anyone try the fresh wheat noodles yet? I'm so excited to pick them up when my toilet paper runs out (my reason for visiting a TJ's)....

I tried the Thai yam tum soup and loved it, but next time I will use a small piece of cheesecloth for the lemongrass. Having to stop chewing the dumplings to pull out lemongrass pieces kind of ruined the experience. I'm not really impressed by the carrot juice, but might try it mixed with a little apple juice next time. This thread brought so many nummy foods into my life! Thank you ppk!

Oh, what a tease! On a related note, though, Target actually has some pretty awesome stuff.

I went to TJ's yesterday and it was amaaazing! being from canada, and that was my first time going, i was just throwing all kinds of goodies into my shopping cart. and I couldnt' buy anything frozen or refrigerated since I was 4 hours away and was afraid it might go bad / melt. I pretty much bought all junk food......3 bags worth! And it still only cost about $60! A trip to whole foods like that would have probably cost me a couple hundred (we have a whole foods near our house and I try to resist going there even though I love it!). I can't remember all of the things I bought but when I'm back at home, I'll try to post the list!

The TJ's bagels all have honey in them now! what the fizzle is that about?

I did find new coconut milk yogurt there this weekend though, for $1.29 each. Better than $1.99 for the So Delicious brand elsewhere.

We got the cinnamon rolls, and had them this weekend. Correction, my partner had them this weekend. I am on a diet, and resisted. He is Omni and said they were delicious.

I don't know how I did it. I smelled them cooking, but couldn't watch him eat them, I went in the other room. I waited until they were gone and made myself a tofu scramble. I kind of wish I had tried them though....meh

My SO brought home some of the Meatless Meatballs the other day and they were a lot better than I thought they would be. In fact, they were pretty darn tasty! There was some other mock meat type thing he got from TJ's (beefless strips maybe?) that I thought was sort of nasty, so this was a nice surprise.

I pay $4.99 for the larger container. Cheap coconut yogurt would rock my socks off.

my sister took me to TJ's yesterday and i noticed a ton of stuff with added honey that didn't have it before. i don't know if it'll help, but i left them some customer feedback and told 'em that as a vegan all the honey in goods is making me sadfaced.

Bought the cinnamon rolls this weekend. Obviously not as good as homemade, but still really good.

I also bought the white bean hummus- yum! A while back I accidentally bought the non-vegan version and ate a little, so for months every time I walked by that section I thought, 'stupid white bean hummus' and gave it the side-eye. I'm glad I finally tried again- it's so good. All the sun-dried tomatoes and oil on top probably doesn't hurt.

And I think I'm incapable of going there and not buying the mandarin chick'n.

NOOO. I am slightly gluten intolerant (seitan kills my stomach and so do most bagels - but nothing else seems to be a problem). TJs bagels never bothered my stomach (for some reason), and now that they have the vegan cream cheese, it was a perfect match. Damn!

What?! No! That is my bagel source! It is ridiculously difficult to find vegan bagels (they all seem to have mystery-source l-cysteine, etc.). That is seriously balls. Everybody write!

My kid really liked the TJ's chik'nless fingers.

Also What's Good at Trader Joes had a great review of the Soy Creamy, that I think has pushed me over the edge. Shopping tomorrow! http://www.whatsgoodattraderjoes.com/

I think the vanilla Soy Creamy is the best vegan vanilla ice cream ever. Seriously in love with that stuff.

The Mini 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat Bagels are still vegan! I just bought a bag last week. They still have the V for vegan on the front of the bag, have the word vegan on the back, and I just double checked the ingredients on the bag, and there is still no honey in them!

Oh, I don't know if everyone knows this, but TJ's is transitioning to BPA free liners for all their cans and all their canned beans are BPA free. Its the only place I buy beans for me and L as a result.

I've never seen those at my TJ's! I'll keep an eye out.
