Does anyone know what their non-dairy cream cheese is? It is so not tofutti. I looked at the two containers side by side and the main ingredient in the TJ brand is coconut oil which is tastier than soybean oil found in the tofutti. Just curious if anyone knows bc I've never seen anything other than tofutti, although maybe i'm just sheltered....... It's Galaxy brand. Thank you :) I bought tofutti first, then the TJ's stuff, then tofutti again (convenience) and I was like, ugh, this stuff is gross next to the TJ's stuff. So I was curious what it was.

It'd be awesome if they'd team of with Daiya for some vegan cheese in TJ's.

I love the organic sprouted tofu. Its extrafirm and cubes up incredibly easy and is very high protein and easy to throw into anything.

I like the sprouted tofu as well. It is Wildwood but about $2 cheaper at TJ than Raley's so score!

Somehow I think the TJ's vegan cream cheese is even better than the Galaxy branded stuff. Maybe they add discount magic!

Finally got the cherry chocolate chip ice cream. It's probably one of the most amazing things I've ever eaten. I don't even like cherry flavored stuff (I normally hate it) but this is so perfectly smooth and tasty. The texture is great.

are there actual cherry pieces in it? i hate cherries (i know) so i've always avoided it on principle, but if it's just smooth cherry flavor + chocolate chips, then i'd try it.

i remember cherry chunks, kinda squishy, which threw me off, i do not like mushy texture in ice cream.

Yeah there are some whole cherries in it. I actually enjoy them in this ice cream though. It's worth a try since TJ's will always accept returns.

Or, if you asked, you could probably get a TJ's employee to open up a carton and give you a sample. They love to open things up and let people sample.

I tried the fresh pasta and I don't really care for pasta. I actually liked it. I didn't read what the packaging said for servings but it was 4 servings for us.

I saw canned coconut cream today! I didn't buy any, but I do tend to buy a few cans a year for random recipes, so yay! I think it was $1.49
I bought: grapefruit juice breaded tenders corn chip dippers - I love these and frequently got disappointed with their tortilla chips' crunch factors tots - it had been too long coconut vanilla milk chia seeds chocolate chips - my cashier, also vegan, remarked on the recent 'controversy' over these and all the calls and mass-buying folks had been doing - she told me they were still vegan applesauce tempeh cava and cat treats, but, ya know....

I have been doing really well on my all TJ's budget. I go 2x a month and get everything I need, and don't shop elsewhere except for the one off item. It has saved me so much money and I never have produce just spoiling on me because I have a better handle on what I spend and I am still getting yummy stuff.
Here is the stuff I love: The Vanilla Soy Creamy is insanely good. Its the creamiest icecream I've ever had. Its flavor is like a really excellent custard (not filtered ;) ).
Organic Veggies esp the pre-cut lacinato kale, spinach, pea shoots and shredded cabbage for easy greens and the $4.99 for 3 organic peppers (tri-color).
Ezekial sprouted sesame bread and raisin bread and the quinoa bread. They're a bit expensive but its an easy way to add a little extra protein for the kidlet.
I also really like the Tofu Burgers (embarrassingly, I can eat them raw) and the high protein and sprouted tofu, both of which are so easy to put into meals.
Love the canned fire roasted tomatoes with jalapeno or plain for a quick Indian, Mexican or Italian dish. Love all the canned, organic beans.
I had the Mandarin Chickenless Nuggets and they were so good. I added half a bag of frozen broc florets and it was better than our local vegan Chinese place. So yummy and easy - total go to treat. Also love the Chickenless Tenders and the Masala Dosa.
I like their instant Colombian coffee, which has saved me from feeling like I need a SBux ice coffee over the summer. And they have fair trade chocolate that goes well with it.
And the seaweed. OMNOMNOM the seaweed. If you're into spicy get the wasabi.

Also notable: one of my local TJ's (the Holgate, for those in PDX) recently renovated and has wider aisles, more end-of-aisle sections and most importantly, an entirely separate half freezer aisle for the frozen vegetables and vegetarian products.

I feel like the ingredients are pretty simple and I should be able to recreate something like them myself for cheeper, but I haven't been able to yet. Yes, the see weed!

The vanilla soy ice cream is truly one of the greatest things I've ever had. The texture is phenomenal. As Tofulish said, it's like custard.

I'm oddly in love with the sweet Bread and Butter Pickles. I don't usually like sweet pickles, but I love these.

The canned Coconut Cream is delicious! I'm gonna try whipping it and I think it would be awesome to make it into ice cream.
