I use it exclusively on my stovetop popcorn now - do it!

has anyone tried the TJ soy yogurt? my store has i think vanilla, peach, and i think strawberry. i'm tired of paying quite a bit for the the whole soy brand yogurt at earth fare --- although it is quite tasty.

any guesses as to which company makes the TJ soy yogurt?

I bought the vanilla one today. It's my first soy yogurt so I'm not sure how it compares, but I liked it fine. The vanilla was more pronounced than I was expecting, but that's not a bad thing. I mainly got it for baking after a terrible mishap using almond milk/vinegar rather than yogurt in a matcha cupcake recipe.

Wildwood makes it. They also make the tofu and veggie burgers that are near the tofu.

They are the ones that come in the refrigerated round tubes. The TJs around here usually keep them by the eggs- either in the stand alone egg case, or in older TJs in the bank of fridges, above the eggs. The are right next to the crescent rolls that come in the same container.

The product codes on the ones I have gotten have matched up to the ones that appear on the Whole Soy yogurt, and they taste the same to me. I have only had Wildwood yogurt once and I thought it was nasty. I like Whole Soy though, and that's what TJ's seems like to me.

This week I found these really tasty frozen appetizers called vegetable bird nests. It's shredded kale, carrots and onion with tempura batter. I baked them, and they were great.

I think it is Whole Soy, too. Maybe it is different in different parts of the country, though.

For your cinnamon roll quick fix, just cook them in your waffle maker! Does not disappoint.

I like those! But I find they are quite pricey for what ends up being 1.5 portion. Once in a while treat!

I think it's Whole Soy too, but maybe it varies regionally. I live in NC, and Wildwood stuff is a lot harder to find around here (at least in my experience). I like the Whole Soy/ TJ's yogurt because it's reeeeally sweet.

I am having a dangerous love affair with the spicy spinach pizzas, though they're neither spicy nor pizza.

Ha! I love these, too, and your post made me remember I have some in the fridge that I forgot about. Snack time!

i think so here too.... not sure what the nutritional info is for wildwood, but the vitamins/ingredients were pretty much identical for my whole soy blueberry and trader joe's strawberry soy yogurt. yay!

i also saw vegan powdered sugar, 1 1lb for $2.99 which i assume is the wholesome (?) brand just repackaged. my TJ guy said the vegan powdered sugar is seasonal so i'm not sure when it's going to disappear again before it makes its presence again at the holidays (winter ones? 4th of july?) it's a mystery.

i forgot to check out the frozen food section. admittedly the TJ frozen food section bothers me/concerns me a bit because a lot of what i've picked up to look at in the past had no expiration date on it at all, just lot codes and such. perhaps they move enough frozen food inventory that dating things are not an issue??? i find this strange. but then again, i don't really buy frozen foods except for french fries and soy ice cream so maybe this is normal??

Definitely Whole Soy here. I just really, really wish they'd carry the unsweetened kind. It's so expensive at WF.

Ugh! In two sizes! Whenever I've found it at the co-op it's always the large container, and it always molds before I get through it.

I made the recipe on the back of the split red lentils bag last night and it was REALLY good. I'm excited! I was excited enough that they have lentils at TJ's now, and the recipe is really good. It's a bit spicy!

This is good to know! I bought a bag cause I have a ton of recipes for them, but now that it's getting warmer I'm not in the mood for stews. The recipe on the bag (lentils, broth, wine, red pepper flakes and black pepper?) seemed like it would be good over some grains with spinach.

I'm pretty sure they had buttermilk or some other crepe in them, unfortunately.
