I bought the pad see ew to try & the Japanese fried rice. I had the curry with banana flowers & red jasmine rice the other day & was very underwhelmed.

So I stopped buying the refrigerated almond milk from TJs because of the carrageenan and switch to WFs brand, but I was just in the store this weekend (and didn't feel like making the trip to WFs) so I checked the Original flavor almond milk - carrageenan free!! Wonder if it's just the Original or if they changed it to all flavors. Very exciting stuff.

What's the deal with carrageenan?

I bought TJ's unsweetened original almond milk for the past 8 months or so and it was carrageenan-free. Although now I've moved and don't live right by TJ's anymore, so I'm back to Almond Breeze (which does contain carageenan.)

Some people feel it causes digestive upset. Others seem to think it is the newest version of the gluten devil. So I guess it depends on who you're asking.

I think it makes my almond milk yummy.

I like the meatless meatballs, but they also freak me out a little. I had to go back and check the package to confirm they were the meatless ones.

I got some of the new white miso. I'm really excited about it, but haven't tried it yet.

i am not a fan on the vegan moz on pizza or pasta - it is pretty liquid- y & not very moz-y in taste. however i think melted down or crumbled finer it is a good sub for queso fresco in mexican dishes! i discovered this with my taco binge this week!

It's not mozzarella like at all. I think it works well as a parmesan. I like a dusting of it on pasta. I was glad to see it at TJ's this week. I'll have to try your queso freso use missmuffcake!

Did they get rid of the kimchi rice? I haven't seen it in a while.

Yeah, the kimchi rice was discontinued. So disappointing.

I think I'm going to cry now. It's not often that you find vegan kimchi products.

Did they advertise vanilla flavor, or will they just have plain?

I know! My partner (he's not vegan) has tried it and said it is really good too. I mean, of course it is. *sadface*

Our store had the coconut creamer today, but I didn't buy it because I didn't need any.
