We went back. My omni boyfriend had the Silk kind too! I put Oreos and peanut butter topping on mine this time.

I need to stop reading this thread, it is giving me a sad. But I am so happy for all of you! Oreos and PB and froyo. Living the dream!

Also, I love your pink hair and how it matches your glasses, BFK!

I ate it! For anyone in MA who might randomly be in the area, the Norwell location has it. It was good. I now regret not getting any Oreos on it, but there were like 75 small children in front of the glass case with the toppings and I got flustered.

And thus, my fate was sealed.

I'm sure you can find it on your own, but I feel the need to help you on your quest by pointing out that the TCBY is on the side of the big building with the grocery store and the Papa Gino's. As you can see, their map directs you to the B, which is the middle of an intersection. There's no yogurt there.

Stop by the Savers while you're in Norwell! It's a good one. If only this had happened while I was still making that miserable commute to Norwell every day. I would have eaten my way to oblivion.

My husband had said we might need to go this weekend as well... I'm not sure if he is kidding? I hope not :)

monkeytoes, if you find out the City Centre one has it, post! There's a chance that will 100% determine whether I bring my car the next time I come over.

City Centre has it!! Woohoo, I don't have to go to the 'burbs for it! And it's super yum. Their fresh berries were looking really good so I got it with raspberries. Next time, strawbs and bluebs, too.

(I also saw where the downtown Veggie Grill is going in on 4th between Pike and Union. Not sure when they're opening, but they were installing appliances of some sort today.)

I've been so excited about this that it just occurred to me last night that this is literally yogurt that is frozen. I know that's dumb, but in my mind I was thinking it was pretty much the same thing as soft serve. The terrible part of this is that I recently realized that yogurt gives me really terrible stomach aches. I'm going to try it once and hope I don't get sick.

the chocolate tastes way more like soft serve than yogurt. i hope it doesn't bug your tummy!

today the commissary had those single serving silk almond dark chocolate drinks for $.79 so I got 2. Drank one, wish I'd bought a case or something. YUMMY.

This is excellent news! I would be mad about not getting froyo, but it's awesome that it's been so popular. Maybe companies will learn that if they make vegan stuff, we will buy it.

It is SO good! There is a TCBYs and a Rita's (which I find a lot less good - but who am I to turn up my nose at vegan offerings!) close to an awesome fenced in playground about 14 minutes from me and I am so psyched about it!

I am sad that I'm going back to NYC tomorrow and the TCBY near me there has no Silk. I'm going to hit the Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn tomorrow though and will report back.

Thank you, Ariann.

I got it last night. It was sort of...weird tasting? I think it may have been freezer burned or something.

The Tigard free-standing location on SW Pacific Highway. It's near Native Foods, so you can make a trip of it!

The TCBY/Mrs.Fields kiosk in front of Native Foods didn't have it.

i was out running errands today, and i ended up like 2 minutes from my local TCBY, so i decided i'd better swing on through. i was completely stupid because i had never been there and i didn't understand the self-serve wall, but the woman who worked there was awesome and helpful. anyway, i topped mine with oreos and mixed nuts, and it was pretty tasty. it's definitely a little more icy than creamy, and i couldn't even tell you what "regular" froyo tastes like, but i enjoyed it.

this place is right near the movie theatre we go to sometimes, so it would be a nice little post-movie dessert.

I find all this talk of self-serve TCBY so bizarre! I had no idea such a thing existed.

I would suck at self-serve! I get two kids cones - one for me and one for L, but if I did selfserve, I'd walk out with $30 of softserve and oreos and snarfle a bazillion calories into myself at once. I fail at portion sizes if left to my own devices
