GO. TO. FRAICHE.

Not joking. GO. NOW.

+1 yummy!

:/

I did on my way out of the Bay. It was... um... well let's hope it wasn't their normal vegan option that ya'll were referring to. (coconut, and pretty damn icy, mushy and overly sweet, not remotely creamy).

I can't post a PDF from my tablet but Google 'TCBY toppings ingredients' and one of the links is a PDF that lists them. The sugar free chocolate chips look okay. Granola has whey. Chocolate sauce also looks okay and the peanut butter topping is also vegan (and good!)

Damn I hope Atlantic Terminal TCBY has the Silk. I don't want to wait three weeks for more.

Mars, that seems not right to me. I thought it was very creamy. Sad for bad froyo :(

Silk is doing a fro-yo promo where the prize is a trip to the Caribbean. You could go to Pig Beach as a **reward** for eating frozen fro-yo!

With vegan PB sauce!

You mean Fraiche, not TCBY, right? Cause I am confused.

Has coconut made another conquest?? Noooooooooo!

The last time I had Fraiche it was creamy and very yogurt-y. I will be super bummed if they've changed the recipe. Sorry for steering you wrong :(((

Well, the thread I started exploded, but I am so sad that don't have a TCBY nearby, I can't even read it anymore. Sad face.

I had this today, finally. It was delicious! The one we went to was self-serve and I filled my cup up too much, but it was still only like $4.50 for a huge cup of froyo and oreos, so no complaints. I'll definitely get it again, but I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I'd probably eat it every day.

the one in the mall near me is a mrs fields/tcby so no vegan one :( i guess i shouldn't complain too much because the yogurt place near me has three sorbet flavors that are all really good and some pretty good toppings. i just want non fruit flavor so i can get it with oreos and ghiradelli chocolate sauce!

The one I went to here is a Mrs Fields combo one, too, but they had it. Hopefully if it's a hit they'll have it in more locations soon. I will go back and get some tomorrow so I am doing my part to make it a permanent/more widespread item!

Was it at the mall in Queens? I still haven't checked the Atlantic Terminal one in Brooklyn which I also think is a combo one.

Same here. Last time I was there it was soy. Tangy, not overly sweet, and great texture, plus that apricot sauce is forking aces. Sorry yours was so crappy!

My omni friend texted me they have it at our local TCBY (Woodbridge Mall) when she was there last week. I can't wait to try it!!! I used to love TCBY when I was in high school, and that's the last time I had it (which was aeons ago, I'm old). I think maybe one night this week we'll have to stop by.

I went for a second time today and was much more generous with my serving size. Yum! While I was filling my cup a lady came in and asked for it. Maybe she was an unknown PPKer, who knows?

I emailed them a big thanks (name-dropped veganism) and got a nice response, including this!

YOU ROCK!!

I think this is just what TCBY needed. I mean, how many of us said, "TCBY? They still exist?" But between allergies, lactose-intolerance, vegans, I think this is a great business plan. I also think they should open one closer to me.

If TCBY comes out with a vanilla, I'll cry. I miss good vanilla soft serve.

When I was googling TCBY in Albany I came across an article about how they were trying to be more modern. Certainly the one closest to me upstate is very nice.

Also, TCBY is on the route of the only bus that goes near my house, so I can go every day if I want to without needing a ride.

The two TCBYs close to me opened in the last year or so, after the pay-by-weight yogurt places became popular in our area, so it seems like that has boosted their business. Plus, their headquarters are next to White Wave, maybe that had something to do with the collaboration.
