I needed some almond butter so I toasted some sliced almonds I had on hand to make butter. I got side tracked and they got very dark. Made the butter anyway because i needed it in something where the taste didn't come through much. Now I have all this slightly burned almond butter. Any idea what to use it for? I kinda want to toss it but I feel bad about it, almonds aren't that cheap here and I have a lot.

Put it in a sandwich with some of my slightly burned jam? Sorry, I'm not helpful, but I'm having a similar problem.

Make a peanut-style sauce (maybe with some sesame oil) and have it with some roasted veggies and the like?

Yum.

Chocolate almond butter cookies could be the solution here.

Can almond butter be incorporated with granola? I've never used almond butter before so I don't know anything about it. But sometimes I put coffee in my granola when I make it and coffee might pair with something a little burnt. Maybe granola bars with almond butter and coffee in them? Chocolate and dried cherries (a lot of dried fruits actually) should pair well too.
