How do you organize recipes you find online? I used to just bookmark them, but my computers keep dying so I've started using springpad. I like that I can tag things and search them. I also like that it keeps track of where the recipes are from so I can attribute things later.

I use diigo for all of my online bookmarking. I used to use delicious, but then switched to diigo for its highlighting and annotating capabilities.

I print them off and lose them.

I save them in documents and print those I plan to make in the nearest future.

I print mine, and keep them organized in a binder. I have sections for desert, sauces, sandwiches etc. I really don't like keeping everything saved on my computer.

Organized? What's that? I save some as bookmarks on delicious, I copy and paste some to an email that I have saved as a draft with tons of links to recipes I've forgotten, and some I print out and lose.

I bookmark them, then save them as email drafts until I can make my husband copy them onto cards. (His handwriting is amazing.)

I quite like Evernote, because the software syncs with your online account so you can access it from your computer if you don't have an Internet connection, or on other computers online. It's also super easy to save recipes from the browser, which is mostly what I do.

Evernote is pretty awesome, especially if you have a premium account. You could just clip the whole page where you found the recipe and it embeds a link. Even better than bookmarking, because you still have that image if the link goes dead.

I copy the recipe and the link into an email and send it to myself. Then I tag it as Recipes to Print or Printed Recipes, as appropriate. I have a binder for the printed ones. On slow days at work, I print up the backlog. I should probably switch to Google Docs though.
ETA: The email system makes them so easy to sort and search though.

I always copy and paste into Word and then print. Then from there I either lose them in my black-hole-of-a-bag or throw them around in every room of the house and in piles on my bookcase in the kitchen... I like to think that one day I will have ample amounts of time to HANDWRITE them all on cute little cupcake recipe cards and collect them in a little red recipe card holder... but that's been on my list of things to do since the 90's... oops.

Another Evernote user here. I always save the entire blog/recipe page when I see something I like and delete later if I don't want it anymore. Recently a couple of blogs have disappeared and I am so grateful to have the info still saved.

In those instances my cat generally seeks them out, rips them to bits, and showers my living room with so much confetti. That's the best.

Bumping this because my beloved springpad updated and now it no longer takes recipes from anywhere on the internet. Bummer. I think I'll try Evernote tonight if I can find the time.

I'm another Delicious user. The tagging system is a really great way to organize recipes, and I can share pretty easily, too. Example: here's a link to the dessert recipes I have bookmarked http://www.delicious.com/b.vicious/reci ... an+dessert

I just bookmark them, now that I have a laptop that I can take right into the kitchen with me while I'm cooking so I no longer have to print them out.
...This is one of the big reasons I wanted to get a laptop, seriously.
