I am going to make the Chickpea Broccoli Casserole tonight from VWAV. I want to halve the recipe and cook it in a 9x9 pan instead of a 9x13 inch pan. Do I need to change anything about the cooking time or temperature to do this? The original recipe says to bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes with foil and then 15 minutes without.

i can't say anything for sure, but i never really worry about correct pan sizes if they're just a few inches off. just check the center and make sure everything is cooked through and you should be fine.

i'd check in at 25-30 minutes and maybe take the foil off then if you're halving the ingredients but i wouldnt change the oven temp

I'd just check it sooner because it won't be as thick.

Thank you for the quick responses. It is in the oven now (although it was so good raw that I almost decided to just serve it cold for dinner).
