I was on vegan essennials and a bunch of other vegan online stores. I noticed that they were out of stock of cheezly. This reminds me of the time daiya was new. I really want to order it! Is cheezly the next big vegan cheese. I really want to try it to see how it compares to daiya which I really like. Has anyone tried cheezly, from the pictures it looks so good.

Cheezly has been around for a bit, but it took forever to get a US distributor. I think it's got a good melt to it, but don't really like to eat it straight up. The texture is sorta grainy to me.
But there are tons of Cheezly fanatics on here.

Cheezly is the only vegan cheese we really have here (other than ocassionally Tofutti). It's okay. I find it grainy too, so I don't really eat it much. I only ever use the nacho cheese one for... well, nachos. It's good on those, because even though it doesn't really melt and get stretchy, it does get softer rather than just burning. But it's also $7.50 for 200g of Cheezly (because all imported food is insanely expensive here). So I can't justify buying it that often.
I had Daiya when I was in the States and it's much better than Cheezly.

Cheezly has been around for a really long time but yeah I think it's often out of stock because it has to be imported. I keep hearing it's going to be mass-marketed in the US but it still doesn't seem to have happened. I like Cheezly the best of all vegan cheeses, the taste is really amazing and it doesn't give me weird stomach upsets like Daiya.
veganchefjay, if you're ever in Manhattan I noticed that Westerly Natural Market on 8th & 54th had tons of it last time I was there.

cheezly is the bomb! it's the only vegan cheese I will eat plain. the grainyness doesn't bother me, it reminds me of non vegan hard cheeses. In my opinion it's the only vegan cheese that tastes like cheese (in a good way). I could really go on and on forever about it because I love it so much. last time I got some I bought it at Health Nuts on 97th and Broadway in manhattan
