I just used up my first box of Vegan Egg and I've really enjoyed it. However, I'm super bummed that it's SO LOW in protein. (I've been doing a lot of weight lifting lately and I am excited to be one of those people who is like "Yes, I can literally lift up my enemies over my head and laugh at them but it's all plants, baby") I want to try mixing it with something higher in protein, like a soy milk or something. Has anyone tried using a liquid OTHER than water?
It just makes me sad that I'm making something that omni partner thinks looks delicious, but won't meet his needs. He's trying SO HARD to learn to eat healthy and is REALLY scared of vegan food, and has been slowly warming up to things like Beyond Meat products and Gardein, and I would LOVE to make us Vegan Egg for breakfast, but he also lifts and likes eggs purely for their protein. I want to be able to make him something with enough protein that he'll cut back on the eggs.
If no one has tried, I'll experiment and report back. Super excited about Baps' video, gonna go watch that now :D
Ooh! ooh! Did you end up experimenting? This is the main reason I haven't touched my box yet. . . I can't think of anything I'd want to try that I wouldn't want to be hearty and filling, like an omelet!
