I was on a feast some week ago and got lots and lots of both marinated black beans and cucumber. Then I craved chocolate cake. So I did mix somethings together which worked wonderfully :)

*** Since your black beans probably are not marinated in oil with spices like thyme and salt and oil and such I'd adjust the amount of cinnamon and add a little extra oil and up the salt a bit.

1 dl = 100 ml and thus not fully half a cup.

* 1/2 container of Ogran's Chocolate Mousse mix (http://www.orgran.com/products/chocolate-mousse-mix/)
* 1/2 sachet of standard chocolate pudding (basically starches and cocoa powder)
* 1/2 dl cocoa powder
* 1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon ***
* 1/4 teaspoon salt ***
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 dl wholegrain spelt flour
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder ***
* 1 dl roasted oat flour / skrädmjöl
* 1 dl barley flour
* 1/2 dl plain white wheat flour
* 1 dl polenta (corn grits)
* 2 dl demerara sugar (raw cane sugar)

* 3/4 of a HUGE cucumber
* a 2 cm bit of fresh ginger in some cubes
* 2 dl black beans
* 3,5 dl soy milk
* 1 dl olive oil
* 1/4 dl light beet sugar syrup

* 50 g melted dark vegan chocolate

Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
Prepare a springform pan either by using margarine and flour or baking papers.

Mix all flours in a mixing bowl.

Put the soy milk into a blender and add the ginger and cucumbers. Mix well. Add the black beans and continue to mix till its rather smooth. add the other fluids.
Mix together the flours and the blended stuff and lace in the melted chocolate.
Fill the springform pan and bake in the middle of the oven about 50-65 minutes. An inserted skewer should come out clean.

Let rest overnight before slicing in as many layers as you need.

:)

This looks very interesting. I'm not sure I could easily get hold of the different flours, but how big are your sachets of chocolate pudding? Do they have a weight on them?

Also, we need a photo of the cake for Food Porn!
