I fill a small saucepan with soymilk, a spoon of sugar, a couple spoons of cocoa powder, a generous dash of cinnamon, and a pinch of chili powder.

This is my favorite this year, might be my all time favorite. It comes out really thick and delicious

3 tbs cocoa powder
3 tbs sugar (or other sweetener)
2 tbs coconut powder
(maybe the smallest pinch of salt ever)

throw it in a casserole and add a few splashes of water, enough for it to be liquid when stirring it around.
Then steam some vanilla soy milk in the milk frother you may or may not have. I like adding a dash of water to the soymilk, thinks it fluffs up a bit better then.
Add the soymilk the the chocolate mixture and heeat up to desired temperature. Pour in a cup and enjoy. I sometimes throw in a few chocolate squares for a nice surprise at the bottom

I think I need to try this.

I don't think I've ever had proper cocoa. I should do something about that too!

Soy creamer in saucepan (or in my case when I'm at school, my rice cooker), sugar, small amount of vanilla extract, black/dutch mix cocoa powder, cinnamon (for sure!), and a small dash of cayenne.

Trader Joe's soy milk (cheapest and best flavor) or almond milk, Dutch-processed cocoa powder (NEVER using hershey's again), sugar, and vanilla. Nothing else. straight up chocolatey goodness.

Heat an inch of milk in the microwave, stir in cocoa powder and sweetener, add flavoring (vanilla or mint or cayenne), fill with milk, heat the rest of the way in the microwave. Hemp milk makes the best cocoa, but I use whatever's around the house.

Almond milk is a must for cocoa! Dutch cocoa after living in Holland for 8 years. Sugar in the raw to taste with a dash of nutmeg as I'm allergic to cinnamon and a splash of rum.

Handful of chocolate chips in the bottom of a mug, soy milk just to cover. Microwave a minute, stir melted chocolate chips until smooth, top up with more soy milk, heat again. I also often like a little bit of rum- not even a full shot, just a couple teaspoons. Also really really good with a little bit of raspberry extract :D

Heat about 3/4 cup almond milk in the microwave (unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze is the best for cocoa), then add a heaping tablespoon of whatever cocoa mix I have on hand. Lake Champlain cocoa mixes are my favorite. Stir it up, and top with a few dashes of cinnamon and/or nutmeg and/or cayenne and/or sea salt.

to answer the question, i enjoy unsweetened plain almond or soymilk heated with cocoa mix that i can never remember the name of. dandies and/or soyatoo aren't mandatory, but very welcome.

Me too!

I always like mine topped with Soyatoo, but I'm mad at them because I just bought a can and it appears to be out of propellant, after giving up maybe a couple tablespoons of whipped cream.

Also, booze. I like Kahlua in there, but I need to branch out.

Add to a mug:
1 TBS dutch process cocoa
dash of vanilla
pinch of cinnamon
teeny pinch of salt
agave nectar or sugar
couple tablespoons of almond milk

Stir until thoroughly combined.

Top off with more milk and stir, microwave for 90 seconds or so. Marshmallows optional.
