i've tried searching this but i haven't found an answer yet!

i've actually made this frosting a few times now for my dairy-allergic son but i don't have a good sense how much frosting one recipe makes. i have to make cupcakes for his school for tomorrow and i don't want to have to make more frosting at the last minute!

so i'm planning to frost 24 cupcakes (by piping frosting). do you think one recipe is enough? doubled? halved??

help!

Not sure if you still need this question answered or not but I made the frosting and I was able to frost 12 cupcakes (not piping them, mind you) with a LOT to spare. Probably could have done about 18 cupcakes without piping. I don't know how that will translate into the amount if you're piping them, but maybe it helps give you a better idea? And just so you know, I was not stingy with the frosting! :)
