Wow, this looks incredible. Welcome to my Tgiv '10 menu, muhammara!

I made this after reading this thread yesterday. It's glorious. So good that Boyfriend has taken the entire tub and set it next to his computer so he can graze on it uninterrupted all day.

I made that (after reading your suggestion) for my book club last weekend. It was delicious and I liked the look of the black beans in the hummus. It was a little too salty for me, though that hasn't stopped me scarfing the leftovers.

yay! i'm really glad you gave it a whirl & liked it - the black beans are a nice & deeeeelicious twist, indeed. sorry it was a bit salty; i should have mentioned that i'm a salt fiend and sometimes i don't even notice it. i'm glad you're enjoying the leftovers though!

This makes me happy; I'm so glad you like it (I have a friend who did the same thing at a party we hosted; he was practically holding the bowl on his lap)!

That stuff is outrageous. I brought a batch to a holiday party - at which we were the only non-omnivores - and we barely got to taste it! (Grumblegrumbleswinishgreedyomnivoresgrumblegrumble...)

Thanks for starting the thread so that I could get that black bean hummus recipe. I don't know why but I am obsessing over it now that it's all gone. I'll have to make some more tonight.
