Anyone using this? http://www.coconutsecret.com/aminos2.html It's soy free & gluten free I picked it up over the summer, and have been adding it sparingly to curries and marinades. I have a few soy and gluten free friends and I try to make an accommodating dish at potlucks and parties. It's really light tasting. I used it once for the 'salt factor' in a tofu marinade and you could hardly taste it at all.

Never seen it, but it seems really interesting! Do you mean it doesn't actually have a soy sauce flavor or that you need to use a lot of it?

I use it a lot and really like it! It's expensive though. For a soy-free high protein pizza topping, make some hemp-fu and mix it up with a good amount of coconut aminos.

I like it. It's not very salty though, so you might have to add sea salt if you're hoping for that salty factor of soy sauce.

I like it but it doesn't seem to keep as well as regular tamari, it get stinkier and thicker. But I still use it.
In recipes I've use a combo of lemon juice and salt to get a similar effect as soy sauce.

I saw it at Whole Foods last summer and wanted it but remember it being too expensive - how much is it there now? I forget.

It was $6 at our health food store, so we tried it out. It honestly didn't taste like too much in our stir fry. It tastes okay on its own.

I find that if I put this in something, I can't taste it at all. It was totally delicious when added to fried rice at the table, though.
