I'm going to make some Beet Burgers today and the recipe calls for cooked bulgur. How do i cook bulgur? can i cook it in a rice cooker?
you can actually prepare it without cooking or even using hot water. Just soak it for a while, maybe 30-45 minutes in cold water and you're good to go. I think the ratio of water to grain is 2:1. This is super helpful in hot weather when cooking anything is a drag.
