I came across this at the grocery store yesterday. http://superiortofu.com/archives/1057 Sorry, I don't know how to paste as a hyperlink. Feel free to educate me, ppk.

The only difference I can see is that it is made with sea salt, but I can't see a sodium content. I was wondering if any of you have tried this style of tofu, and if the salt flavour is noticable.

On a side note, I'm excited that this brand, although not organic, is made with non-GMO soybeans.

I've had this tofu but I don't remember a huge difference between it and regular tofu. It does taste different but not bad or extremely different than you would be used to.

I've never seen this stuff- I'm intrigued. Does it feel more solid like the blocks of tofu you can get at Asian supermarkets?

well it's asian style tofu but it's not super firm like normal grocery store style tofu. You wouldn't really be able to slice it and make cutlets out of it. It's more suitable for stews and soups and things like that.
