Ok, my girlfriend and I are doing a throwdown for a 5 course tasting menu. 2 Apps, 2 mains, 1 dessert. In small portions.

What are the MOST impressive recipes?? I mean these are people who are not foodies, but I want to win and strange foods like mini pot pies would be impressive. But you know, I want to be crazy impressive with this menu.

I would not mind a raw dish throw in somewhere...

Any ideas?

there, fixed that for you.

seriously though, if you search for "mini" on the blog there's ideas from past Holiday parties that might work.
