I was at Whole Foods last night and bought a package of black garlic on a whim. What do I do with it? It's really expensive so I want to make something fancy, but I have no idea what. Ideas?

I looked at the recipes on blackgarlic.com, but none of them pop out at me as "look at me! I'm fancy!" or seem like anything I'd care to put the effort in to cook. Found a recipe for black garlic hummus which looks interesting, but once again, pretty basic. I was thinking maybe served over something white with black mushrooms?

How cool is that!

I wouldn't use them for hummus. I like the idea of putting it with something white and with mushrooms.

Risotto can be fancy if plated well, or just eaten out of a cereal bowl if you are alone. like I do. yum.

This popped up a while ago on the old forums and someone said it was awesome on pizza. Just be sure you like it before you put it on anything. We hated it.
