My sister is helping coordinate a Nutcracker themed tea. She is in charge of the dessert plate. There will be three little dessert items on each plate. I agreed to do some type of cookie. The other items will be a chocolate kiss/cherry mouse, a mini cupcake (flavor to be determined by what the cookie ends up being) and a cookie(s).
I need to come up with a cute, kid friendly, not too complicated cookie. We have to serve 100 kids and mommies. She was hoping for something red and white. I am going to try Kelly's pinwheel cookies if I can size them down small enough. I want to come up with three choices and I'm drawing a blank. Other idea for cute small dessert items might work as well.
I want to make them very adorable, but my schedule is crazy, so I can't get too fancy. I'm kind of at a loss. Any ideas?

Anything shaped like a snowflake would be good (there are dancing snowflakes in The Nutcracker). Plain old rolled out sugar cookies are very kid-friendly.
