All am eating discussions, all the time.
Breakfast is always my worst/laziest meal of the day. I am determined to stop skipping it and motivation like this should help.
Current Breakfast: Last nights nuked coffee Desired Breakfast: Hashbrowns and tofu scramble.
What are you guys eating (post pics!), what are your favourite breakfast meals, how do you cope with busy schedules and morning meals?

I had a late (but fun!) night last night so breakfast was coffee & 3 raspberry ruffle sweets.
I was going to do some fried potato bread, sausages & beans but the potato bread was mouldy, forking potato bread >:[

I am on nights, so breakfast is lunch and lunch is dinner and dinner is breakfast. I am looking forward to my 300th breakfast of hashbrowns and tabasco. If I'm lucky there will be beans and I can make toast. I don't really mind, but it's not very healthy.
I would kill for a waffle. Pumpkin.

I usually have toast with margarine and nooch. I want biscuits and gravy or French toast. But I'm still trying to find the perfect French toast. Maybe that's something I can do during MoFo - make a different French toast recipe every weekend until I find the right one.

I pretty much have coffee with soy milk, 2 rounds of toast, peanut butter and a banana every morning. I am happy with that before work on a weekday but at weekends I would prefer pancakes or waffles or what Fezza said.

I make musli the night before. It kind of forces me to eat a healthy brekkie because it's already made and waiting for me.
Tomorrow's brekkie: One grated apple, a handful of oats, dash of cinnamon, sprinkle of sultanas and dried white mulberries. All covered with unsweetened almond milk and allowed to soak overnight in the fridge.
I guess my preferred breakfast would be something far less healthy. Banana pancakes with pb and melted dark chocolate? Cinnamon rolls? Potato/parsnip hashbrowns cooked with rosemary, salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and glugs and glugs of olive oil?

I'm terrible at breakfast, I can't manage to get out of bed until the very last second I need to to get to work on time. I'd love to have it together enough to at the very least make a green smoothie, but generally I'm living on air until 10.30 when I have my tea break at work where, if I'm lucky, I have toast. Mostly it just ends up being coffee though.

I always have a latte & toast, and if my dad makes breakfast it's hashbrowns + tofu scramble on toast. that's my favorite breakfast, my dad makes the world's best hashbrowns.
today I had a pumpkin spice latte, toast, hashbrowns, & tofurky sundried tomato sausage.

I went grocery shopping this morning before breakfast, so by the time I got home, I was pretty famished. I had two slices of toast with peanut butter and a mug of ginseng tea. I would much preferred hash browns with a side of tofu scramble.
I make a big thing of steel cut oats on the weekend or a non-busy weekday night so that I have enough oats to last me three or four mornings. So in the morning, I scoop out however much oatmeal I want to eat, cover it with almond milk, mix in some raisins and sliced bananas, and nuke in the microwave for a minute or two. It makes having a healthy breakfast that much less of a hassle.

I thought I was alone in not meeting my breakfast wants.
I HAVE almost the same exact thing for breakfast every single day. Weetabix with nuts and dried fruit, 1/2 grapefruit and tea. In the winter I swap the Weetabix for oatmeal.
I WANT waffles or pancakes or a tofu scramble or tofu benedict or fronch toast or something and I really WANT someone else to make it for me!

Is it weird that I look forward to my oatmeal every morning? It's so comforting and yummy and safe, if that makes sense. Plus, it's infinitely customizable.
When I don't have my oatmeal, the rest of the day is in a funk. Like today, I wa out of oatmeal so logically I had to eat ice cream for breakfast. Logically.

I've had the same breakfast every day for a year now. Oatmeal with soymilk and cinnamon. I don't want anything else. :(

My breakfast today (at 1pm) was an awesome scrambled tofu in a burrito. However, I wished it could've had olives or black beans or avocado in/with it, and that I could've had toast instead of burrito. But I guess I can't really complain, eh?
For a while I would make a dozen or 2 dozen muffins and freeze them all, then take one out at night before I went to bed and put it by the coffee maker (also set up before I went to bed) so in the morning I would have fresh coffee and a muffin.

(I know you didn't ask, just thought I'd share) I had no idea that so many people loved hashbrowns too, I thought it was another one of my weird food likes. question: does hashbrown refer to shredded potatoes only, or does it include diced potatoes? (I've always thought it was shredded, but since so many people like them I'm wondering if there are other forms of hashbrowns)

I have: usually seeded 7 grain toast with EB or sometimes corn flakes and almond milk with a big mug of coffee and then I take a big thermos with me and drink that at work to stay awake at 8 am.
I want: something yummy like pancakes and soy sausage or even just more protein and some fruit. My breakfast is always a carb-fest.

I usually have steel cut oatmeal with a banana. Sometimes I add raisins or peanut butter if I am feeling adventurous.
I would love to have a slurpee, cinnamon rolls and french toast for breakfast every day. Or cake!

A warm bowl of oatmeal (preferably with some sort of nut butter, and lots of cinnamon) and a steaming mug of black coffee is the best, most comforting breakfast ever. Every now and then, I'll want something else. . . this morning I had an almond milk latte and spelt banana/chocolate muffin. It was absolutely delicious, but I wouldn't want it every day.

This week for breakfast I am having bananas cut in half and slathered with soy-nut butter. And tea, because I'm out of coffee. I'd rather have Chocolate Chip Pancakes with tofurky sausage and coffee. Mmmmmm....

I usually have oat bran or oatmeal with peanut butter, raisins, and a lot of cinnamon. Sometimes I add a banana or ground flax. I'm happy with oats, especially when the weather is cooler. In the summer I like dry cereal with soymilk or a smoothie.

Whatever I find first. This can be bananas, tortillas, leftovers, junk food, etc.
I would like to eat better food and less sugar in the morning. I'm thinking maybe oatmeal will be a new staple for me.

I pretty much always have wholegrain toast with Tofutti cream cheese, baby spinach and avocado, thrown under the grill for a couple of minutes.
But I want mushrooms. And the zucchini fritters I used to get from the cafe across the road from my old place. And their giant slabs of toasted Turkish bread.
