I got a jar of berbere spice in my "mystery bag" at my co-op's anniversary on Sunday, and it contained a nice-sized jar of locally-mixed berbere :-)

Suggestions on what to do with it (with recipes, please!) So far I've used it to season my sweet potato oven fries, made with a gigantic sweet potato also found in the mystery bag.

Thanks!

I made this chickpea and turnip stew once and it was really good:

She also has a lentil stew recipe that uses berbere that I haven't made (yet):

Also, check Vegan Dad. This is a search of Ethiopian recipes, most of which have berbere.
