According to the people at the farmers market here that I talked to today, there will be scarce apples due to drought and heat that happened this summer. I bet when I get my honeycrisp they will be pricey.

Mine were $2.99/lb and soooooooooooooooo good.

Saw my first Honeycrisps yesterday...$3.98/lb at my local HEB market (Houston area). I look forward to these every year, but don't think I'll be paying that price for an apple.

YESSSS. Thank goodness for this thread. Just found these suckers for $2.99/lb at the Safeway on Market/Church. I had to fight the masses to get a good look. Now I'm off to OD on fibre.
