My Labia hurt, and it's really bothering me. I'm clean, I haven't had any interesting or rough sexual encounters... I'm going to see the midwife who usually does my exams soon, but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this? Is it a normal come and go thing? It's been going on for a week now and it's driving me insane!

Oh, and there are no funny smells or discharges, just a dull ache in the labia majora.

I've had pain there sometimes, almost like I've cut it. But it's definitely not been cut or torn, or not as far as I can see. I'm not sure why though, it didn't seem to be sex-related or anything else-related either.

I hope you get it sorted soon, and that someone posts a more helpful reply.

I've woken up with very sore lady parts, feeling like I had sex with the biggest man in the world, but I haven't had sex in a long time so this isn't it. My soreness comes and goes maybe a few times a year for a day or so at a time, there is no explanation.

A week sounds like a long time. The only thing I've had that maybe is similar is after I gained a bunch of weight after my surgery none of my underwear fit any longer so it was getting really painful. I finally sucked it up and bought some new ones and the problem went away.

Is it possibly swollen lymph nodes? I had a strange soreness once in my labia, then my lymph nodes swelled(swole?) and I could feel little pebble-sized lumps in them, which were tender as the dickens. Then they went away and nothing bad happened.

Inexplicable soreness of the lady bits is almost always the first sign of a yeast infection (shows up 2-3 days before itching/discharge) for me, but a week is too long for that to be the case.

Have you changed soaps - irritation, reaction, etc?

For the past few days I've had a feeling as though there are scratches or splits on the bottom of my labia. I can't see anyting but I think that's because I don't have good enough flexibility/ eyesight. I've started using sensitive baby wipes instead of toilet paper (we have very cheap paper and it now feels scratchy to me), is that a good idea or will the chemicals irritate it more?
Is there a solution I could make up to wash with and help this heal?
