The last time I thought that I was getting sick, I started adding coconut oil to my oatmeal in the morning and I ended up not getting sick. If you have some laying around it might be worth a try.
My best sore throat remedy is a mug of hot apple cider with a Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in. Then I sprinkle some cayenne pepper on top. That will clear you up!

I tried the lemon juice + ginger + garlic + turmeric + cayenne + sweetener Cold-Blasting Cocktail this morning. My burps are absolutely foul, but I'm breathing easier and actually seem to have more energy! Thanks, PPK!

Emergen-C, my neti-pot, and Deborah Madison's Sick Person Soup, which I will share later when I'm not supposed to be getting ready for work.

I think I jinxed myself by posting - I woke up with a full blown cold this morning. Off to rustle up the lemon/ginger/garlic etc now.....

I use the magical ginger/cayenne/garlic/agave mixture in my green tea. Eucalyptus steam baths, hot and sour miso soup, and a few daily drops of my echinacea tincture also seem to slay the cold beastie.

Lots of OJ and a nice pot of the Angelica Kitchen miso soup. Miso cures all, I swear.

4 Emergen-C's later I am convinced they don't help. But hey they taste pretty good and have B12 so all is not lost.

8 or more hours of sleep + double shot of wheat grass + water - daily run.
That normally does the trick. I came down with a cold Monday night, implemented the above and I'm almost better tonight.
