I just happened across an article from 2009 claiming that B12 can be found in some mushrooms and am not sure of it's authenticity or reliability - could anyone shed light on this?

This reads to be legitimate, and the Chemistry Behind Vegetarianism source made sense as well. Neither of them talked about if it was absorbed the same way as b 12 from other sources. The absence of comment may mean that it is. I am looking for more information on the metabolization or absorption currently and not really finding anything. MIT nutrition says that shitake mushrooms are the best source.
