...but I really need to go to work.

Two days ago I was stung by a bee by the side of my eye. I didn't get the stinger out within the first few minutes (first time being stung), so I guess the bee got all of his venom in me. I just woke up and I look awful. I have a bag of frozen shredded zucchini on my face--what else can I do? I look awful, so I'll likely need to avoid work and especially driving because I can only see out of one eye.

Does the ppk have any wonderful bee sting remedies? I was just minding my business walking up the road on the farm I work at and the little bugger decided to get me.

I think antihistamine might help. Sorry to hear it happened, sounds nasty! xxx

when i first saw the thread title i was going to say "oh no you have pink eye!" because when I had pink eye I woke up and my eye wouldn't open because it was crusted shut (ewwww). so, at least it's not that!

Thanks guys! Update: I took one of Jay's allergy pills (Reactine? Or something like that) and have had the frozen bad of zucchini on my face for more than an hour, and it's going down a tiny bit. I still look really bad, but I think I'll go to work anyway and just do paperwork/work in the kitchen. I am not looking forward to the weird looks.
