I've never been one to overindulge, but in the past few weeks I've noticed my appetite decreasing more and more so that now when I eat I mostly feel kind of nauseated and I just want to stop. I'm pretty sure I've lost weight, and this is not good because I'm pretty underweight as it is.
This sucks. I love food! Now I mostly find everything extremely unappetising. I literally have *no* clue what's going on with me. Anyone have any ideas?

This could be a symptom of so many things. If you haven't already done so, I strongly suggest you see your doctor.

Go see a doctor! It could be anything.

Agree with the above--go see a doctor! If it's not a physical ailment, it could always be stress or depression. Either way, tests to figure out if it's a physical ailment, then maybe your doctor can point you in a good direction for counseling or something if it's not. And maybe try to have some smoothies or something to make sure you're getting nutrition? Green smoothies with added protein powder and some kind of fat (my favorite is peanut butter, but I know some do coconut oil).

If there's even the remotest chance you could be pregnant, I'd take a pregnancy test, just in case.

Thirding? Fourthing? the doctor thing.
Sometimes this happens to me for a week or two at a time, and I think it just has to do with my hormone cycles. I'm overweight though, so it's not very concerning, especially knowing it always goes away after a while. You should definitely speak to a professional just in case!

I've been going through something similar lately, and for me it is stress. I'd check with a doctor, like everyone else says, but I've recently re-engaged in my yoga practice and running, as well as positive self-talk, which has helped so so so much. I'm still only eating a meal a day, but I make sure I also do high nutrient little snacks to make sure I'm not getting sick while I sort out my stress. My job is really stressful, so I've also been taking timeouts, and over the past week I've been doing these things I've found that I don't get ill from eating normally the way I was before. I hope you figure it out and can get it under control, soon!

Pretty much like everyone else here my first thought was to take a pregnancy test and see a doctor. Good luck!

Thanks everyone. There is no chance I'm preggers. But I did just start birthcontrol this month, and then stopped it this week. If this can be caused my hormones that would be my best guess.
I just hate going to the doctor these days, they just stress me out more and never help :( I know I should go, though.

I hate going to the doctor too. But if I hadn't on several occasions, I would have become seriously ill. If you don't have a good experience with one, go to another!

BC pills? Most that I've tried make me nauseous. A different formulation might help if that's the cause and changing brands is an option. Def talk to a doc. What about checking out an urgent care or clinic if you don't like your doc? The urgent care near me for some reason attracts awesome docs.

Yup, see a doctor, especially since you're losing weight. I am one to overindulge... when I lose my appetite, which happens rarely, it's stress. But it could be so, so many things.
If you think it's the pill, have you tried taking them at night before you go to bed? I never had a problem with nausea unless I was taking them in the am.

This happens to me for 2 or 3 days at a time sometimes too, all of a sudden most food seems gross and makes me nauseous. I usually eat bland foods like toast and drink ginger ale and that helps with the nausea. It's possible it could be the bc pills, I agree it might be better to take them at night since they can cause nausea.

Ugh this happened to me a couple of months ago for about 5 days. There was no chance I could have been pregnant, but it sure felt like it! It went away on it's own. That was the first time something like that happened to me. Maybe gut flora thing? I just hope you feel better soon!
