Does anyone have experience with it? What tests did they do to diagnose it? Is it possible to have it without ever having had a STD?

I suspect this may be the cause of the pelvic pain that I am experiencing. So far they can't find anything. I've had 1 obgyn appointment and an ultrasound of my stomach and pelvic regions. Ultrasound came back normal.

My symptoms:
pelvic pain- pain located right inside of hipbone, where I suspect my ovaries are. Also, pain in lower back. dull and achy, not stabbing
low grade fever- 99.1-99.4

That sounds painful, and I hope you find a solution soon.

First, you may have had an STI without being aware of it. And second, I would definitely say that you should keep working with your doctor. If the ultrasound comes back negative, they may have you do a hysteriosonogram (basicly an untrasound where they put a catheter into your uterus fill it with water then do an ultrasound) which gives a clearer picture. I had that done recently and it wasn't fun, but it was good to rule out scarring on my fallopian tubes.
