I'm a pretty shitty vegan. I just found out that apparently Cheerios are no good because they have vitamin D3 which is sourced from lanolin. What are some good Cheerios alternatives that I might find at Hannafords? And more importantly are all forms of vitamin D suspect? For instance, the bread I've been eating says it has vitamin D in it, but it doesn't specify what kind.
basically, D3 is generally not vegan, D2 is. if it's unspecified on something, you can write to the company and ask which kind they use.

For the sake of future Google searchers, I just got a call from Freihofer's, and their Stone Ground 100% Whole Wheat bread is vegan despite having vitamin D.
