For the past couple of weeks I've probably had four or five moments where I just feel like shiitake out of the blue. I can hold my puke pretty well in non-bathroom environments, but if I did go to the bathroom when I get this feeling, I'd puke. But mostly it's like 10 or 15 minutes of just feeling like I need to puke.
Is this normal? I mean, I know it's not normal for me, but I figured it might be for other people and maybe I'm just changing. Random nausea is pretty annoying but it's not like a death sentence.
It doesn't feel doctor worthy since it's entirely random and I can't think of a single thing that I've done differently food-wise, no alcohol or medicines and it's gone on a little too long to be PMS related.

I am feeling the same way lately. I have been feeling pukey and thought it was anxiety...I googled stuff & all I seem to find is pregnancy...

Did you switch or start taking birth control pills recently? I switched brands a few weeks ago and I felt like I was going to throw up in class two days in a row so I just stopped taking them.

No, I stopped taking them all together about six months ago.

I went through something like this last year for no good reason. I took a lot of pepto and laid down. I have no idea why, and I never actually puked. I'm so helpful!

At least I know there's a chance it may go away. Or you know...not.

Mine was probably stress related, this was in November and December when we were trying to sell our house and failing and had to pack and figure out where everyone was going to live.

Definitely agree with the comments that it is probably stress related. I get awful nausea when I am going through stressful times- like at the moment! I empathise entirely! You can get some tablets to help, or I find ginger is good- have some chai :)

I have no stress! I'm probably the least stressed out I've been in my life because I'm working part time and schooling part time and everything's so easy. Maybe I'm getting nausea from lack of stress.

That would suck. Though when I was a kid, I would get really sick on the weekends.
Do you have any dizziness at all? I had a viral inner ear infection once and for a while I would randomly feel really sick. And then I couldn't walk without holding onto something.

Are you getting enough sleep? This year and a good portion of last year I would start to feel like that from my lack of sleep. I only rarely throw up when it happens, but I'll feel like crepe for a good amount of time.

I've been like that when I have vertigo. And a lot of times the nausea wouldn't happen at the same time as the spins, so I didn't necessarily connect them until later.

This may sound dumb, was the weather changeable at that time? Was it when the summer humidity faded?
I've had sinus problems that I tracked to inhaling mold when it gets colder/dryer(counterintuitive, I know) and it makes me feel sick to my stomach. The mold travels into the stomach through sinus drainage. The system just wants to get RID of it NOW and not wait for further processing.
For ex, I went to an antique/collectibles store that had a slight odor of mold in one room--barely noticed it, left after a few minutes--but an hour later at another store I was getting the regurgitation memo from my stomach & my head ached in that specifically sinus-y way. After a year of no pain!
If you are not stressed, ate no bad food, don't get sicker before you get better, maybe there is something in your environment your body doesn't want around--I'm thinking germs. A virus or something--like paperweight said.

Definitely a pantsbaby. Be careful when you get undressed!

If I have a pantsbaby without getting forked first, I am going to be so beyond pissed. No immaculate pantsbabies!

I have had random bouts of nausea for as long as I can remember. The severity varies. I've never thrown up because of it, but it really sucks. At your service!

I had a period of a couple of months where I would feel sick for the first few hours that I was awake. It was definitely worse when I hadn't slept properly. Once I had to tell my dad to call me back because I had to throw up in the bin. I probably should have gone to the doctor, but it seems to have gone away now.

I've had this a couple times in the past few months. I've figured it was probably something I ate, but who knows. It's never lasted more than a minute or two, though.

I've been having this lately too! But I'm on a weird medicine, so it might be that.

I have felt nauseated for the last week and a half. It isn't to the point where I vomit, but I just feel sea sick type nausea most of the day. I'm chalking it up to stress for now, but I've never responded to stress in this way. If I still feel like crepe on Monday I'm calling my doctor, but I'm glad to know that I'm not the only pukey-feeling one out there.

Part of me hopes that it's some new flu strain and I've totally broke a story on it before anyone else! Fame! Fortune! But then the other part of me doesn't want a flu.

Mine is nausea and the puke rising in the throat. This morning I was super dizzy too. Fun times.
