A spin-off from the weight-loss thread, post your strategies for keeping the blood flowing and staving off the horrors of sitting while at the office. Here's a poster showing a bunch of exercises you can do at the office.

My work is good about installing adjustable keyboard trays if you ask - so I have a desk that I can either stand or sit at. Not really a workout necessarily, but it gets you up off the chair!

Use the bathroom on a different floor. (And run up the stairs). You can also ask to move printers, copiers, etc... further away so you have to walk to get to them.

I've dated co-workers, which always provides a nice bit of afternoon cardio...

I try to go outside for a walk every day at lunch. 30 minutes is a good day, but if I'm busy just 5 around the building. Good to get some air.
If the bathroom's occupied, do push-ups against the wall while I wait.

I'm definitely going to incorporate some of those desk exercises from the poster! Since quitting my serving job where I took tons of steps, I've been a bit worried about whether I will gain any weight. I already make sure to park my car 4 blocks away from my gallery job, so at least I'm getting 8 blocks of walking in every day. And I'm usually running late, so they're brisk walks!
