I have a very mild case of perioral dermatitis and I am looking for a natural remedy. Perioral dermatitis is a red rash, sometimes with bumps, sometimes itchy, sometimes burning. It is around the mouth and nose.

I have already stopped using all facial products as recommended by my google search. Two of the natural remedies listed are:

yogurt
apple cider vinegar

Both to be applied directly to the rash.

Anyone else ever had this? What worked to get rid of it?

I have had rosacea perioral dermatitis since 21. I have worked with my dermatologist to find answers that work, and I have been liking Evan Healy facial products.

I've been using yogurt for the last 2 days and already it is getting better. I put a little bit on and rub it around the area. Did it 2-3 times each day. It is no longer red and the dryness is way down. Definitely can't go out of the house with it on though.

For me it has been helpful to look at it as a chronic problem rather than something to get rid of. It's a condition I manage and it's not too bad!
