I'm producing green slime at an increasing rate each day. Chest infection, sinus infection and conjunctivitis. What else could get infected after these? Ears?

Ugh, feel better 8ball.

My knee keeps giving out on me. Like I'll be walking and suddenly it will buckle. I have an old injury and will probably require surgery at some point but I really don't want to do it and be off my feet anytime soon. I can't work if I can't walk.

Also my insurance wouldn't approve more physical therapy for treatment of my hand (a tendon was shredded by a cat bite) and it is weak and hurts. I'm trying to figure out what exercises to do on my own but I really should be in PT.

I'm just...not ready. Also, they're different from the rest of my hair! They're wavy-ish, while the rest of my hair is stick straight. So sometimes it just looks like I have a bunch of random white pubes sticking up out of my head.

blondiefk and 8ball, I'm sorry to hear about your maladies! I'm feeling you both right now, what with the gunk coming out of my lungs and my hyperextended shoulder that I'm just trying to stretch and soothe on my own.

The puffiness under my eyes is giving me serious depression. The rest of my face is in decent shape, no wrinkles or other obvious signs of aging but my eye area is horrendous. It is genetic. It is getting worse every day. It looks like I have aged 15 years over the last 6 months. I have spent untold dollars trying to fix it/cover it up and nothing works. I need to move to the 'acceptance' stage but I am still in the anger and grief modes. sucks.

Right, so. I have this like utter clockwork period. To the 28th day always. This month? Meant to be Sunday but... now it's Wednesday and nope. You know what it is? Spontaneous ovulation upon seeing Suede on Sunday night. Yep. Sure of it. Sure sure sure. Hahaha.

Conjunctivitis moved into the right eye overnight. I am a 28 Days Later style zombie sans red vomit.

I've got enough white hairs that I notice when I lose them and find em scattered like all the other ones, its like a damn old-folks home!

My hormones are going batshit crazy. I have been broken out like a teenager for a month, and my period just comes whenever it forking feels like it these days. It went MIA for 4 or 5 months awhile back and is now making up for lost time by showing up every 2 or 3 weeks. I don't like this!

thanks guys. Like I said, I'm pretty bummed but today is a new day and I am just going to try and be positive. No, they don't know what's wrong. I'm not prediabetic or hypertensive, which I guess are 2 things that can go along with this, so November will be a month of ultrasounds, scopes, and tests. Send me good juju vibes, PPK!

Heartburn for the last two days. What the fork. Being sick isn't enough? So I gotta be coughing, sneezing, mucusy, AND have a burning chest? So lame.

i don't have the time to read all 4 pages but just want to chime in that i'm totally the same, and always have been. I call myself a "psychosomaticizer." Everyone always comments how peaceful and calm I am, and I truly do feel peaceful and calm. But in stressful situations my body betrays me with headaches and um...Irritable bowel syndrome. IBS is like the total classic psychosomatic symptom. I used to get it during final exam time in grad school. Ugh. Just in the past year now that I've turned 40 the heartburn has kicked in too. I almost wish I would just feel the damn emotions because it seems like i could do more about that than all these weird uncontrollable physical symptoms!

Welcome to winter dry skin and scalp! Almost overnight my scalp got incredibly flaky. Blegh. I love heat, but I hate how badly it dries me out! Also, I plucked way too many gray hairs out of my bangs this morning. They all seem to be up front there, where the world can see them. Jerks.

Have you tried the lush soak & float bar? It smells like a campfire but works pretty well for dry scalp.

No, but I actually love smelling like a campfire, so that could work out...

You should try it! I was wary of the little shampoo bars at first, because they're expensive and look small. But it only shrinks a little with each wash and lasts me a long time so now I love them. (no packaging woo!) I've used so many products for winter dry scalp and this one really seems to work the best for me. I only use it 1x per week on the weekend and use the blue seanik bar on other days.

For apparently no reason, I've recently started breaking out into hives every night while I sleep. Dear body, you are not in any danger. There is no need to overreact. And even if you were, your defense mechanism of itchy, hot red blotches is not actually protecting me from anything except being able to go out in public in short sleeves.

Two weeks of dizziness, severe nausea and headaches. Doctor says it's all in my mind. I say doctor couldn't be bothered to help and wanted to get me out of the room as fast as he could.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, linanil...

I had a renal ultrasound last week and am getting a cystoscopy and the follow up for the ultrasound this week, and I'm nervous. I haven't told anyone except you guys and my husband what's going on because... I just don't want to deal, I think? I started to say something to my mom and she was all "wow, your grandpa needed a kidney but wouldn't take mine because he said 'what if your daughter needs one someday?'" Thanks mom, you really are that rock to lean on. Always knowing how to put me at ease.
