Dammit, I was just here to check what the advice was for getting a clove out from it's hiding place and of course, the old thread is gone! I know there's some magical angle I can tilt at that will help me retrieve the forker. I know it's there, it's just a liiiiddle bit too far to grab. Dang.

Why don't you want it sprouting up there? Sounds like it could be nice- any time you were cooking you would have fresh garlic on hand. And your body would always have a lovely garlic aroma, making people wonder why they smelled garlic bread or pizza all the time. Only those who knew you quite well would find out.

Currently riding the yeast beast. Garlic in the poot, working its magic!

About a previous post: I always heard that putting water inside you when you have a yeast infection is the worst thing to do, since yeast like/want/need water to multiply. Maybe the hydrogen peroxide does something extra, but stay away from water or water-based douching!
I'll have to try the baking soda and water trick for UTI's, which I get more frequently than this. Hoping for something that wont turn my pee neon orange and stain all my underwear!

The garlic mouth is the only downside to this. After three days, I just couldn't take it anymore.

Now, how do you pronounce Vajayjay? Va-jay-jay? Vaj-ay-jay? I think it sounds... looks kind of cute.

Maybe not quite the right thread for this, but what about yeast infections in men? One of my male friends has yeast infections often. Is there way the menfolk can partake?

Garlic itself kills the yeast so I think you need direct contact to do good, so maybe blenderizing a clove of garlic and applying it to the affected area will work (but also sting). I dunno if constant direct contact is needed or not, but it might help if they do it a few times a day, as well as keep it clean and DRY since yeast loves water.

eta: I looked it up so now I know more about male yeast infections than I wanted, and I answered my own question, hehe.

They don't have to know where it came from! My partner kissed me and asked if I had been eating raw garlic...

Also, I don't know if different people metabolize garlic differently or if some people can't smell it as much.

I am! Went to a football match and dinner with the guy I'm dating. He is pure cuteness and so lovely to spend time with.

Ooooo, yeast infections suck! When I got my first one I learned that the yeast had spread into my organs. I was miserable, depressed, sick all time, and itchy as heck! The only way I could get relief was to make garlic water and douched with it several times a day. I also had to cut out ALL sugar, even fruit, and stopped eating a bunch of other stuff (gluten, corn, soy, mushrooms). It took a long time but I starved the yeast and am happy and healthy again! =)
