I had 45 minutes to kill while my laundry was in the washer today, so I wandered over to Good Vibrations (one of the many perks of living in SF is that there's one every 3 blocks or so). I haven't had a vibrator in years, so I kind of stood around looking at what they had, and I found myself thinking, "that's the one abbie has; that's the one paprikapapaya has..." etc. etc. It was kind of funny. Anyway, I ended up buying the form 2!

I had it for YEARS, and I'm not in the market for a new one. unfortunately my price range only goes up to about $50. I need suggestions, My ex manfriend bought the old one for me and it was a real simple one. it looked like this:http://store.babeland.com/vibrators-slimline/jimmyjane-iconic-smoothie-vibrator but I'm open to suggestions.
I also have a question: are there any places that have more... subtle packaging for delivered toys? In the place I live now the mail room is the front hall and the ups people just kind of leave stuff there and I don't feel like my entire building needs to know about my toys, you know?
anyway, help would be appreciated. Good Vibes and Babeland always use discreet packaging. Like it doesn't say Toys in Babeland on the box. I know Good Vibes says "Open Enterprises" on it...so if someone sees the box and*knows* that open enterprises is what Good Vibes ships in...who cares if they know, because they've obvs ordered from them :)

God damn I love the Mona. JoPa, can you give us a review of sorts (whatever you're comfortable with)? I've looked at the Form 2 multiple times in store but can never quite figure out what I'd do with it.

Well, I was looking for a high-quality, non-phallic thing, and the form 2 seemed to have the best combination of attributes for me. It's small enough to be unobtrusive during partner sex, but not so small that you're fumbling around with it. I also liked that it's got a silicone outer, not hard plastic or metal. As far as the shape, it just gives it some versatility that something like a magic bullet or whatever doesn't have. It's not exactly necessary, but if, like me, you just wanted to buy one high-quality thing and be done with it, then it works out. Also, it has a 3-year warranty, which I'm all about.
I give it an A+ so far.

After dinner, the boy and I walked across the street to Batteries Not Included. I totally impulse bought the Lelo Gigi! It's so fancy and pretty and pink! I don't even like pink. On the ride home, I kept thinking to myself, "I just bought a $115 vibrator." I haven't had a toy in about a year, so I didn't mind splurging, especially since all the cheaper ones I've had over the years break so fast. I'm super excited to try it out. Charge faster, dammit! The shopguy also showed me the Isla, which I'd never seen before. It looks pretty amazing. I'm intrigued about the Form 2 also. Maybe that'll be my next purchase.

I'm pissed. My Fun Factory vibe died after just 2 years. I don't know if it's still covered by a warranty, and I didn't take its papers with me to the other side of the world anyway. I'm looking for a replacement. I only ever used it for its vibrating effect, so I don't care if my new vibe is shaped like a dildo or not. I prefer a silicon surface (although another medical grade plastic would be fine), and I would also prefer a rechargable one. The JimmyJane form 2 and form 6 look awesome, but holy shiitake they're expensive!

Does this count as a sex toy?
I am seriously coveting the Sports Sheets under-bed restraint system. I hear nothing but glowing reviews. I'm thinking about picking it up before my school goes on April vacation so that I can spend several days at the boy's house with the new toy... My friend works at Good Vibrations here in Boston and has offered to pick up anything I want using her discount and I can just pay her back. Yay!
It's been so long since I've bought a new vibrator, but I already have so many and really only use one. It's the cheapest one I own, too, yet it's always been the best. Go figure.
I still want to get a new one, though, just cause I never tire of trying new ones. Heh.

I've decided to get myself a graduation present (and because yet another cheap vibe died on me) so I've decided to get a Form 2. It's 20% off at Babeland, which is still pricey, but it's quality. I'm sick of my vibes to dying mid-diddle.

I recently won a vegan dog collar and while cool - it isn't really my thing. Anyone on here want it? It is brand-new, unused, still in the packaging. http://www.edenfantasys.com/noir-collar ... dvds-29372Originally the contest was for a blindfold but they either ran out or shipped me the wrong thing. I don't want to just toss it since it seems like someone vegan ought to have the accessory. Let me know if anyone is interested. edit: In case I wasn't clear, I am giving this away. I won it so no need for me to sell it.
